Submission Specifications:  Minimum size requirement no smaller than 5"x 7". No maximum size limit. All submissions will be online. Art must be submitted with artist name, address, email, phone number, medium, size and price.   

Hanging:  Invitations will be extended to those artists whose work has been selected by the juror for show at the G. Lee Gallery. Accepting the invitation to show work at the Gallery is voluntary. IF an artist receives an invitation to hang their work at the gallery, their art must be available for sale thru the event close. Art must be carefully wired, ready to hang, tagged with the artist's name, size, medium and price. Wiring, and framing (artist preference) are the sole responsibility of the artist. No sawtooth hangers allowed. Shipping charges (both to the Gallery and return in the event the piece does not sell) must be PREPAID by the artist. NO SALES of art once shipped to the Gallery may be made directly by the artist for the duration of the event.  Please contact G. Lee Gallery  for additional instruction.

Juried Art: Artists will be notified no later than Wednesday, March 15 of acceptance of their work. Artists invited to  hang their art at the Gallery must deliver their art to G. Lee Gallery no later than 3:30 p.m.,  Saturday, March 18. This year's juror is Shirley Leago - learn more about Shirley at: shirleymooreleago.com 

Awards: Cash awards and ribbons will be awarded for overall Best in Show.  First, Second, and Third  and the famous SWAN gift tote will be awarded in each category. 

Sale: Sales will take place at the G. Lee Gallery and on-line immediately following judging and for the duration of the event. Work must be available for sale thru the close of the show on Friday, March 31, 2023. G. Lee Gallery will retain 40% commission for artwork sold at the Gallery or on the Gallery's online website. NO SALES may be made directly by the artist.  G. Lee Gallery reserves the right to remove paintings that do not conform to the rules or are deemed offensive.

Liability: G. Lee Gallery is not liable or responsible for any accidents, loss, damage or injury as a result of participation.

Show: 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18 - Friday, March 31, 2023 at G. Lee Gallery, 2217 Strand, Suite 107-B, Galveston, TX. Closed Tuesdays.  Collectors, friends and family are welcome to stop by the Gallery, be inspired and purchase. There will be a reception this year stay tuned for details.
